Nostalgic-to-a-fault is how I often describe myself. A sentimentalist.

All my close friends probably know about the time that I cried (like, sobbed) the night before my 9th birthday while listening to Landslide by Fleetwood Mac because time was moving too quickly…and I think that just about sums me up. Motherhood has naturally only served to wreck my heart even more - in the most beautiful and achy ways. I want to remember everything just how it is right this second. Because it’s all so fleeting and all so lovely and all so worth remembering. I don’t want things to change. But things change. Time marches on.

Yet photographs stand still.

I desire to help other families make their time stand still, too. Your baby’s curls and chubby cheeks and dimpled hands will not last forever. But photographs are lasting. Little pieces of history. Proof that we were there. Proof that it all matters.
